The first project, which is already underway in Guinea, aims at supervising the promotion of a production sector via a fuel-efficient wood-burning cooker, allowing at the same time the improvement of the living conditions of the Guinean families and contributing to the environmental policies and sustainable management of timber resources. The second project is combating desertification in Chad through the promotion of improved wood-burning stoves through the distribution of small portable metal cookers. This project aims to reduce tree cutting, encourage the preservation of the environment and improve the quality of life of women. The latter will receive technical training to use improved kitchens and will be sensitized to better environmental protection and sustainable development.
