Two years have gone by since the passing of Eric the Actor, one of the most prominent members of the Wack Pack to ever live. Howard marked the occasion on Tuesday morning's Stern Show with a special retrospective of some of Eric's greatest on-air moments and asked the question: Is Eric the Actor the greatest Wack Packer ever? Before listing his six reasons why Eric was such a great part of the show, Howard took a phone call from Jon pronounced like "Yann" , Eric's former roommate and caregiver, who had an announcement to make. He claimed to be getting contacted constantly from individuals who want to get their hands on some undergarments worn by Eric the Actor.

Eric the Actor was a regular caller on the Howard Stern Show. For all of us that had the joy of hearing his regular call-ins, the impact was great. In many ways, Eric was the ultimate character in the Howard Stern universe. He was dealt a tough hand physically. But not about his physical condition. For some reason, that complaining was arguably the most entertaining part of the Howard Stern Show in recent years. Those characters have ranged from A-list celebrities and musicians to no-names who found stardom through being regulars on the show.

Stern is known for his raunchy style which has caused him to be hated by some, and adored by others. The Howard Stern Show sometimes features individuals from a group of people who regular watchers are quite familiar with. Not just any unusual guest can be considered a member of the Wack Pack. This ever-growing list included one man that just about every Howard Stern fan knows about.

Lynch, 39, stood just 3 feet tall, but his reach was long thanks to the entertaining chemistry he developed with Stern over a decade of phone calls. And not just us -- celebrities all over the world loved Eric. I am so sorry and so sad to inform everyone that my friend Eric "The Actor" Lynch passed away yesterday afternoon!!!
