Balancing lacrosse sticks, pizza, and other props, approximately female students at Maine's Bowdoin College posed nude in the college's second "Celebrating Women, Celebrating Bodies" exhibit sponsored by its Women's Resource Center, the College Fix reported. The school displayed the unedited portraits for several weeks in April in an effort to "empower" women. The pictures "bring to light that there is more than one type of woman, one type of body," Anissa Tanksley, one of center's then-five student directors told college paper The Bowdoin Orient after the exhibit's announcement in February. They only asked participant's heads be shown in the pictures.
